Stanley Stephen College of Engineering and Technology had an outstanding placement season for the class of 2008, 2009 and 2010 in Post Graduate Programmes (MBA) as there is an access for the companies to have the elevated and talented students in our college, the Reliance communications have come forward to offer the opportunities. In response to their belief, we arranged the things and proceeded, 80 students of various colleges and 60 of our college students participated and 16 students got through.

The major companies Like TATA Projects, HCL, Infosys, RELIANCE had its presence in our premises on   04/04/10, 30, 20/05/10, 30/06/10, 01/08/10, 07/08/10 to pick the outstanding performers from various parts of Rayalaseema. The people of Reliance communications had a bountiful experience with the maiden drive and extended their service with us by giving more opportunities.

Stanley Stephen College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated to JNT University, Anantapur, A.P. The unique aspect of the Institute is that the admission is based purely on Merit. The Institute generates all its resources internally and the support from the corporates has been limited to no end.

The Institute has an extremely ambitious programme towards the creation of next generation researchers, faculty members and innovators through the Research Exchange Programme.

This year the institute also introduced the concept of industry interaction session with specific objective of enabling students gain an industry perspective on competencies essential at the entry level.

The IT industry, including top-notch companies, appreciated the capability and knowledge levels of the students. Though relatively young when compared to other major institutes, the curricula and the extra-curricular activities at Stanley Stephen College of Engineering and Technology have led to the all-round development of the students with strong adaptability and learn ability skills.

The Stanley Stephen College of Engineering and Technology has a dedicated Career Service and Brand Management Office that assists students pursue their career goals by providing career counseling, career information services, and conducting skill development workshops. A student-driven placement committee works closely with and supports the Career Service Office and its activities.

This year, for the batch of 2010 (off campus) on 29th May 2010, the Placement department has planned many industry-institute interactions to further strengthen the process and provide the industry with ready professionals.

As a placement officer I can clearly say that this sort of programs can soothe the life of the students to get through and etch their lives for a better life.
